Meyer Burger Technology Ag. The Group's principal activity is manufacturing of machines and competences for the solar, semiconductor, optical and ceramic industry. It specializes in the development and manufacture of machines for cutting and processing of materials such as crystalline, silicon, glass, quartz, ceramics and sapphire, among others. The Group's geographical segment is Swizerland, Europe, Aisa/Oceania, America and Middle East. During the year 2008, the Group acquired Hennecke Systems GmbH and AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau GmbH.
